This is in Robanov kot valley, in the NE part of Kamnik & Savinja Alps. The summit of Ojstrica behind is some 1650 m above us.
Completing another hike, some time left to me and I went in the valley of Kot, to see the scenery. The road was however still under snow, and I reached nowhere. I was wondering if anyone was skiing by those nice slopes at all in the last week. In the middle you see the sharp Vrbanova špica, on the right is the also rocky Požgana Mlinarica.
Sally and I were walking in our quiet neighborhood. I usually take the camera because I'm hopeful that we'll come across a neighbor cat. This guy stole my heart right away.
This is on the high, panoramic road below Olševa, Karawanks range. On the right is Ložekar farm, the mountains above Matkov kot (valley) belong already to Kamnik and Savinja Alps.
This set of seven shots demonstrates Charlie's eating ritual. All have a lot of editing, and a few are really terrible, but the group is a pretty good representation of what we sit through every time he eats. Back and forth between the 2 bowls, pausing in between. It goes on for minutes after the other cats have finished. The person whose turn it is to feed the cats has to guard Charlie until he finishes, and only then can she open the doors for the other cats who have finished.
