On a Sunday evening in last fall, I found the platform was rather sparse. I took this with Canon EF 28mm and Acros.

神戸の高速神戸駅にて.

I took this at an O-ko-no-mi-ya-ki restaurant in Kobe area last month. The lady has run the place for more than three decades. I used Konica's compact camera C35EF3 and Fuji Acros 100.

“KOBE Luminarie” has started since December 1995 to pray for the repose of victim of the Great Hanshin Awaji earthquake and express the hope for the future. Since then, Kobe luminarie has been held every year to pass on the memories of the earthquake to the next generation as a signature event in Kobe representing the hope. This year marks the 24th anniversary of its event. Enjoy a magnificent art of illumination in KOBE.

Kobe Japan 南京町

Kobe (神戸市 Kōbe-shi) is the sixth-largest city in Japan and is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture on the southern side of the main island of Honshū

Kobe was one of the cities to open for trade with the West following the end of the policy of seclusion and has since been known as a cosmopolitan port city. While the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake diminished much of Kobe's prominence as a port city, it remains Japan's fourth busiest container port.
