A collection of tiny cogs and other watch parts arranged geometrically in a fashion known as 'Knolling'
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Knolling (it is a new word for me !). Of course we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us since we celebrate Happy Teddy bear Tuesdays.
So this is my take on Knolling. I decided to use my most « recognizable » props. So if you are following me from some time now, you will recognize almost everything in this picture ;-). I hope you can find Mr. Teddy Bear among all my « treasures ».
See you later my friends, I have a meeting to attend this morning !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "knolling".
Shot with an Agfa "M 3525 6/3" lens on a Canon EOS R5.
It’s amazing how many small coins can be fitted in a 3” square! Some of these coins, like the Australian and New Zealand old 3 penny coins are really tiny , about the size of my little finger’s nail!
I found this old Parker Knoll chair discarded at Dungeness, It's a dumping ground for mainly fishing boats and fishing equipment so i've no idea what this chair was doing there!
For the Macro Mondays theme: knolling. It is 3in wide.
Knolling is the process of arranging similar objects in parallel or at 90 degree angles as a method of organisation. The term was first used in 1987 by Andrew Kromelow, a janitor at Frank Gehry's furniture fabrication shop. At the time, Gehry was designing chairs for Knoll, a company famously known for Florence Knoll's angular furniture. Kromelow would arrange any displaced tools at right angles on all surfaces, and called this routine knolling, in that the tools were arranged in right angles—similar to Knoll furniture.
I feel like a failed "knoller". The smaller pearls wouldn't line up straight and the other beads differed in size so it was also difficult to line them up in a straight line.
HMM and happy new week!
Thanks for visiting. I am very grateful to those who take the time to comment or fave.
Macro Mondays - Knolling
Happy Macro Monday everyone.
Well that was fun arranging all these beads :) And, yep, it measures 3" x 2".
Crazy Tuesday
"Knolling" - THEME of 6th April 2021
Composition, Try to use as much pasta as I could, I made it using stone plates, in 3 of them are the colors of the flag of Italy with olive oil and basil, garlic and tomatoes; farfalle paste makes up the second flag, and the hearts of Italy the third; the fourth dish I decided to make the flower since Italy is a romantic country and loves pasta as much as a good pizza, and good food and wine, are very demanding with quality. I made the flower with TORTELLINI and egg using only the yolk, the pasta is made with a base of flour, water, salt egg and olive oil, the three components are part of the cologe
Here are the kinds of pasta i use:
SPAGHETTI
STELLINE
BUCATINI
RAVIOLI
TORTELLINI
TAGLIATELLE
RIGATONI
FUSILLI
FARFALLE
CUORE DI PASTA
POMODORI
AGLIO
OLIO DI OLIVA EXTRA VIRGEN
BASILICO
UOVO
FARINA
Potentilla Flowers, tiny buttercups and Flea Bane flowers survivors of several days of heavy showers and wind.

A view further up the Red Scar Knoll trail of the Red Hill and it's contrasting blonder top and backside. A midday shot so light was harsh.
The Painted Hills began to form 35 million years ago when pumice and ash from volcanic eruptions in the Cascade Mountains traveled 100 miles east and settled over the area.
The red and yellow stripes in the hills are formed by minerals that were present in the ash and laterite floodplain soils—specifically iron and aluminum.
Enjoy a wonderful weekend!
