This variation of the classic Brioche Rib Knit Stitch incorporates a simple modification to the classic Brioche pattern, which creates slighlty more rigid knitted columns and an interesting mesh texture when the fabric is stretched sideways. ETA: Right after I frogged this, I thought to myself I should have finished it as is and donated as a chemo cap. I probably still would have had enough yarn left over for a Midas for myself. Made me pretty anxious to think of the wasted time (and it was a pain in the ass to frog because of the cashmere content), but I'm going to try not to dwell and just rinse it and cast on a different hat with it asap.
Cast on November 19, 2020. I love the color and look of the stitch, but it’s tedious, and doesn’t fit well.
