oof. the light on this one literally hurts me. although the color on the mitten itself is actually pretty close, i swear neither i nor anyone i know owns a peachy-puce bedspread.
at any rate, i love love love this mitten. some dominance confusion and some tension issues to work on, but overall, i'm very pleased.

Since she could not bake me Christmas cookies for the Holidays, my mother decided to tear apart her old sweater and turn it into a small snowman just to make me smile and bring herself to me, because I do not live in my country anymore so...! She just uses her heart to form unique small things that you just cannot find anywhere in the world!
This picture is taken specially for the Macro Mondays theme: "cloth" and I hope that my little re-knitted, from an old cloth, snowman will be perfect for the theme.
Thank you !

that I used to knit .Although these caps were not well matched for me(anybody:)), so I wrapped caps around heads as the second trial hoping it's yours!
Thank you all for your thoughtful, kind, inspiring and sometimes funny notes and comments. Non-Flicker people don't quite get it, but it is more than photography that knits us together.
Looking forward to the V for Victory that this pattern reminds me of! This is one of the many gorgeous sweaters my mom made through the years.(Remember it, E?) I wanted to put it up at some point and suddenly it seemed appropriate today. I definitely feel wrapped in your hugs!
(Yes, I know I have mixed a zillion metaphors. So sue me!)
I knitted heaps of little mitred squares and finally sewed them all together into a very multicoloured cushion! It's a very comfy cushion too. :-) Blogged here - randomapplique.blogspot.com/2007/02/another-cushion.html
