__________
Η σχέση;
Είδα απέναντι από το Ωδείο, τις πολυκατοικίες της ανατολικής πλευράς της Αγοράς να παρατηρούν αγέρωχα, σταματημένα τραίνα You know we got this far, darling, not by luck but by never turning back, μου έστειλαν ενισχυμένο από το Ωδείο ένα ψίθυρο τους με άπταιστη αμερικανική προφορά, ... and have a little trust in us when fear obscures the path συνέχισαν, απευθυνόμενες στην καρδιά μου μάλλον. Φόβος;
Come on, Come on άκουσα μέσα μου ένα ψίθυρο που έστειλα με τη σειρά μου αθώα προς το Ωδείο ..

Show a little inspiration, show a little spark
And show that things that drew me to you and stole my heart
And tell me something I don't know instead of everything I do
And look at me as if I mean something to you
Our hearts are beating while we sleep, but while we're wide awake
You know the world won't stop, and actions speak louder
Listen to your heart, and what your heart might say
Everything we got, we got the hard way
Show a little passion, baby, show a little style
And show the knack for knowing when and the gift for knowing how
And have a little trust in us when fear obscures the path
You know we got this far, darling, not by luck, but by never turning back
Some will call on destiny, but I just call on faith
That the world won't stop, and actions speak louder
Listen to your heart, to what your heart might say
Everything we got, we got the hard way
Caught up in our little lives, there's not a lot left over
I see what's missing in your eyes; you're searching for that field of clover
So show a little inspiration, show a little spark
Show the world a little light when you show it your heart
We've got two lives, one we're given and the other one we make
And the world won't stop, and actions speak louder
Listen to your heart, and your heart might say
Everything we got, we got the hard (everything we got, we got the hard way)
Everything we got, we got the hard way
(Because the world won't stop) hang on, baby...

The Russian Market is the most popular market among tourists and expats and probably the best place to pick up souvenirs. It does not look like much from the outside but when you get in you will find everything from beautifully hand carved statues, colorful lanterns and handmade silk scarves to fake bags, printed T-shirts and DVDs.
Russian market is located in the south part of Phnom Penh and is known to the locals as Phsar Toul Tom Poung. The reason why it is called Russian market is because it was a popular market among the Russian expats during the 1980s when most of the western expats in Phnom Penh were Russian.
It is a narrow and sometimes steamy market since most of the stalls do not have Air-conditions or even a fan.
Buried deep in the Marrakesh Medina markets stock in this curious stall spills out onto the path of busy shoppers.
Birds of a feather hangin' out together.
For sale at the local junk shop.
Still life in a storefront window.

Our kitchen table is now bare as Georgina could not keep her furry little paws off my tchotchkies ... sigh.
Maybe one day when she has developed a few manners they will be allowed back :)
This type of bisque figure was popular at the end of the 19th century. Mass produced in Germany and Britain they are usually well made but not that popular in modern homes.
They usually came in pairs, The young lady would have had a equally elaborate beau.
I made this in High school. It is a piece of teak from the spoke of a ships tiller wheel that I cut at an angle. The cross is made of shavings from filing a bone and mixing the bone dust with epoxy then filling the cross shape I had carved out. After hardening, it was sanded and sanded and polished. I made the shelf it sits on also, but you can't really see that to well... : )

Knick Knack is an English equivalent of bric-à-brac. It means small decorative items in a house.
Tchotchke is yet another name, it comes from the Yiddish tshatshke of the same meaning, and ultimately from a now-obsolete Polish word, czaczko. Tchotchke is a pretty popular word these days, but it wasn't commonly used in English until the 1970s
