KMP's are skill building exercises advised by Kevin Macpherson in his book Fill Your Oil Paintings with Light & Color. I started these in 2007 and still at it in 2017 :) . If you want to know more about this set of exercises click here - drawtheline.wordpress.com/2007/03/13/kmp-1100/
This machine pistol features an optional carbine kit that transforms it into a compact, lightweight submachine gun.
Submachine gun chambered in 5.33x37mm KMP, a specialized round with a small dose of corrosive payload. Both the weapon and its ammunition are manufactured by Kompacc.

I promise I'll stop posting for a while hahah
Lothian Regional Transport, always was ... and maybe still is, a well respected source of good quality used vehicles, particularly double deckers. The Edinburgh municipal fleet carried on ordering the latter when practically all except London and Dublin had ceased to buy them in any number. The only downside (as it was when buying second hand from the other two) was that they specified dual doors. That inconvenience could however be overlooked to a degree when overall condition was taken into account.
In this picture L959 MSC looks as though it's been freshly prepared and re-painted into KMP's unusual livery, whilst another similar bus in Lothian colours, as yet un touched, looks on. Both the 'deckers were Volvo Olympians, built in that period when the Swedish manufacturer was beginning to try to stamp its ownership on to the Leyland design. Bodywork was by Alexander ... I'd hazard a guess that the droopy looking Volvo coach was a Berkhoff.
KMP passed to Padarn Bus with some of their more modern stock also going to Arriva not long after this picture was taken.

KMP took its name from the initials of founder Keith Williams's three daughters, and sold out in 2009 to then much smaller neighbour Padarn Bus. Darts were the mainstays of the stage services in 2004 but the first two Volvo B7RLEs had recently arrived; both were out at work and not photographed though.

The number 7 must have had some special significance to KMP as it featured in almost all of their personalised registrations. This was another former Eurolines coach now working in plain white on private hires.

Seeking an alternative to the somewhat-outdated KRS1 shotgun in terms of close-ranged reliability, Kongo Firearms Inc. developed their first machine pistol in 1949. The folding metal wire shoulder stock makes it light and compact, so it is a favorite of Congolese paratroopers. It fires .45 rounds, which gives it considerable stopping power.
