This is the 1st time I tried the DRI (Dynamic Range Increase) technique. Hope for a better picture and smoother technique in future.

As day turns into night, the PETRONAS Twin Towers light up, with a light show from the sunset on the horizon.
Urban Sunset Series #4
Due to the lack of photo-outing these days and the lack of creative mind as well, here is an old image taken last year.
FYI, I captured this rare twilight moment before I left the office. Since then, I brought my camera a few times but never get this marvellous colors in the sky again.
Thanks to my buddies Vedd and Ariffin for taking me to that great vantage point (a highway under construction!).
Stitching of 2 HDRs, each HDR made of 5 exposures, shot with my Sigma18-200mm at 55mm.

This was one of many mock-ups of apartment balconies at the KL Park Festival 2023 to allow various designers to showcase how gardens could be brought to highrise living.
A close-up of the main crystal dome at the lift lobby on the ground floor of Kuala Lumpur or KL Tower, Malaysia. This is the place to get good views over the city, including views of the Petronas Twin Towers.
A view of the Petronas Twin Towers (designed by Cesar Pelli) from Kuala Lumpur Tower. They are currently the tallest twin towers in the world. To the right, the black building with the triangular structure is by world renowned architects Foster + Partners. The apartment building just in front of that (named The Troika) was also designed by the same firm.
As it was raining that day, I took my family up to the indoor observation deck. However, for serious photographers and nightscenes, I would recommend buying tickets for the outdoor deck so as to avoid reflections caused by the glazing.

Kuala Lumpur City Center, as seen from the indoor observation deck of the KL Tower (421m high). The shooting conditions were quite challenging as it was shot through the glass, with lots of parasite reflections and glare. I cloned out as much as I could, and digital blending also helped.
More KL shots in my Malaysia Set, or night cityscapes in my Night Photography Set.
3 exposures Digital Blending. More shots using this technique in my Digital Blending Set.

The KL Tower Facade Lighting exercise involves the lighting up of the whole tower, from the ground floor to the top of the antenna mast, with LED lights.
KL Tower has installed 80 LED lights for the tower shaft, 160 lights for the tower head and 12 LED lights for the antenna mast. The tower lights can be seen as far as 10 km away while the lights at the tower head can even be seen from Genting Highland.
