Happy Caturday!

Kardamili (Greek: Καρδαμύλη, variously transliterated as Kardamyle, Cardamyle, Kardhamili, and Kardamyli, and sometimes called "Skardamoula", especially on old maps) is a town by the sea thirty-five kilometers southeast of Kalamata. It is the seat of the municipality of Lefktro in the region of Messenia on the Mani Peninsula.

These are two feral kittens our daughter adopted. They are calming down a bit now and allowing the grandsons to pet them. Archie, the one on his hind legs, is the friendlier of the two.

Hmm... I think this is Pixeli but it could be Elfaba. Hard to tell after 10 years!

From a cat show in Kaari, Helsinki

I came across this one out in the countryside yesterday. Oh my goodness, sooooo cute, a purr-monster and into everything. And those ears!!!!! ❤ It was so hard not to put him (I think a "him") in my backpack and bring him home! But his mum still wants him....

They appear to be a family of countryside ferals, who are lucky to have food and water left out for them. His much quieter ginger brother and another older kitten appeared from a tree hollow, but they were much shyer. This little guy though, what a superstar! (And yes, there are many, many more photos of him!)

Took this a lotta years ago at the Wild Life Safari.. Had to stay in the car so the pictures weren't as good as I would have liked but happy to have had the opportunity to visit... Happy Fence Friday, Everybody!!!!!!

Fynnie the fluff is still my number one photo model although I post quite a lot of photos of Linus these days. Nobody poses better than Fynn does. He ususally wants to please me and looks directly at the camera and therefore this kind of photo is easy to get. It's more difficult to take profile shots or to capture his natural behaviour. Such photos always require a distraction of some kind. :)

It has been far too long since I've posted a cat picture and much, much too long since I've had the chance to photograph one. I need more kitties in my life!
