Thursday afternoon I took my last nature walk of 2020. The beach was empty except for the eagle and me. The lack of the wind made the walk pleasant, in spite of the sun's coming and going. We'll see what 2021 brings.....
I'll post eagle photos another time.
Tuesday afternoon was sunny and moderate, an excellent time to revisit Kite Beach. In the distance, closer to the lighthouse, is a surfer.
Tuesday I took a walk along Kite Beach. The changing lighting as the sun passed in and out of the clouds made it interesting.
This lone strand of pine needles, blown onto the beach by our recent high winds, stood out among the shells and other beach gatherings.
During a late afternoon the sunshine provided interesting lighting for both Lake Michigan and its ice-bound shoreline.
I recently took a walk along Lake Michigan dune in Sheboygan. The ice shelves have started to develop along the shoreline, a sign that winter is truly here.

UAE Flag Day, 3rd November is celebrated with 4500 flags on Kite Beach which depict the faces of the countries leaders. I couldn't fly above it so took this instead.

Starting now, I am putting watermark in the middle of my images, as some of my images are ending up on other web page while not being informed or credited.
Lately this pair of eagles has been visiting the trees that line Kite Beach. They are interesting to watch and are always welcome.
