With a large center island, lots of counter space, professional grade appliances, and abundant storage, this kitchen is a dream come true for the owner. She loves to greet each day by going to the kitchen with the morning sun filling the space. The cabinetry consists of beaded, inset doors of white glazed ash with raised panels at the base cabinets and beadboard at the wall cabinets.

the white underneath is where I have to paint- this micro is much smaller than the old one. It works too- what used to take me 1.45 minutes in the old one takes just 40 seconds now.... Yea!!!
Just so you know, I prefer white. I have NEVER wanted stainless appliances. Nice, fresh white ones for me...
I picked up two spice organizer trays at BED, BATH AND BEYOND yesterday but it looks like I'm going to need a few more. (There's one more drawer of the same size that will also house spices.)

The cabinets are in for the most part -- in enough at least that the countertop guy could come by and template the countertops.
Obviously, drawer-fronts, pulls and trim are still waiting for installation, but the bulk of the work is done. (I think the cabinet guys do the last of their work on Monday.)
The stove -- a vintage, circa 1950s Wedgewood stunner that we inherited from Roth's parents. It has a regular oven on the right, a warming oven on the left, double broilers on the bottom, a griddle in the middle, and four GAS burners. Also, a working light and clock. AND, original salt and pepper shakers.
With the kitchen done, we realized there wasn't really a place for our big garbage can (or the big can that held the dog food). We put the dog food in a giant plastic container that pulls out and found this door mount under sink set up for the trash (Laurenn's suggestion!). The only problem is that we measured it without the lid and once it was up we figured out we need to move it up about half an inch in order to get the cabinet door to close properly. D'oh!
