El Cerro or Water King Popularly known as The Water King Kong , The Praise of the Horizon of Chillida, although not a spectacular beauty, where it is located is privileged views you have. An interesting feature is that when placed inside can be heard more strongly the sound of the waves.
Four cool tokens from four good movies. They come with the TCM (Turner Classic Movies) version of the movie game "Scene it? and represent King Kong, the Maltese Falcon, the Wizard of Oz, and Citizen Kane. Each piece is about 1in (2.5cm) at its tallest or widest. The cube is just over an inch.
My favorite of these four is the Maltese Falcon.
Btw, in the 1939 Oz movie, the magic slippers were red, but in the book, they were silver.
Dieses gewaltige Graffiti fanden wir bei einem Rundgang durch das Künstlerviertel 798 welches ein altes Industriegebiet für die Fertigung von Rüstungsgütern in Peking war. Nach dem Tod von Mao Tsetung, der beginnenden Öffnung Chinas und der Einführung der Marktwirtschaft waren diese Betriebe nicht mehr nötig und wurden geschlossen.
Das ganze Graffiti war so groß das ich selbst mit 15mm Probleme hatte es ganz ins Bild zu bekommen.
We found this massive graffiti on a tour of the 798 artists' district, which was an old industrial area for the manufacture of armaments in Beijing. After the death of Mao Tsetung, the opening of China and the introduction of the market economy, these factories were no longer necessary and were closed.
The whole graffiti was so big that even with 15mm I had problems getting the whole picture.

This Western Lowland Silverback male Gorilla (named Jasiri) displays his long strong Popeye-like arms. Quite impressive muscles on this male - he must be “strong to the finich ‘cause he eats his spinach”. Admired at the Calgary Zoo (2024).
