The trees here in the Chilterns Woodlands are changing colour rapidly now and shedding a good carpet pile depth of leaves to decorate the floor in this shot. I'll be back again when the frost kicks in to hopefully add some mist.

Two weeks ago my doctor referred me for physiotherapy, but I still haven't heard from them.
So I am trying to do some simple Pilates moves.
This exerise is still way beyond my ability, as I can't even lie on my front ... yes I've tried and even tried to lift my leg, but it is much to painful.
Named after a song by Paul Revere and the Raiders, she reminds me of a cross between Cher in the mid-60s and Marlo Thomas during "That Girl!"

When the sun sets, the city lights up again. The Ghent lighting plan kicks in as thousands of lights are switched on. Today we went to the Highland Gathering at Castle Hill, NSW, Australia. It was a great day and the Scottish gods must have been looking down on us, as it was a beautiful sunny day. We have had two days of torrential rain and storms and it was even raining early this morning, but by the time we arrived at the showground, the sun was out.

What shocks me as a photographer is how ordinary people could just walk on by - without a care on their faces mere inches from putting their heels on the faces of people sleeping on the streets of Bath.
It’s not much to ask. Just a door to lock.
A door that won’t break when someone kicks it.

I'll be back to the summer chronology soon but figured I'd put up an oldie just for kicks. In the good old days I would run the numbers of all CNW's road power through the UP car trace and see if there was anything nearby. I suspect this was one of those times. A westbound manifest grinds up Knapp Hill on the Adams line behind a CNW and an SP SD. It was a good time for variety on the UP. May 9, 1998.

My friend gave these to me as a gift. They where a half a size too big so I took them back. I had to take a couple of pictures first!
Boarded up...but the pink kicks seem new.
