The Scottish Crannog Centre, is one of the country's top heritage sites where you can discover what life was like over 2500 years ago! This reconstructed thatched wooden house is built on stilts over the water, with a gangway that would have been lifted up in the event of danger.

Kenmore

Marcus Gillebaard's last trip after 41 years of service is on CSX B793 heading towards Kenmore.

The sunrise that almost didn't happen. Was about to give up hope of any colour, when suddenly the sky turned pink and reflected nicely off Loch Tay. It lasted only a couple of minutes, so it was a bit of a dash to get to a spot, set up and compose a shot.

After dropping my camera and having to send it away for repairs I thought it would be weeks before I could take photos again. Thankfully a friend lent me his (very old!) camera so I had a chance to go out last night and catch the last of the light before sunset.
