Was replacing my Thirsty Hippo when I saw Ken and Ryu figures standing in my display, and the inner voice kept urging me to do this image I had been wanting to do...
They're on their way up the mountains for their training to become the champion street fighters of the world!!! I like the red ribbon on the Ken's pony-tailed alternate head, and if it is on Ken, then we'll have to photoshop away Ryu's now don't we?
This wraps 2008. Happy New Year flickr-ers!

“You have no game son!”
I finaly have Street Fighter IV in my posesion! WOOT WOOT. What a sweet game.
Spend all night playing against my dude Tienne who is half way across the globe in the Troy, Alabama. (yeah I know…(>.<))
Still can’t get over how awesome technology has become. I remember playing Street Fighter II on the SNES at one of my friends house when I was like 10. That was the only possobility for some multiplayer fun. Sittin next to eachother on the couch. Now, you can be 10.000 km away from eachother and still can exchange uppercuts. I love it, it’s so great. God bless the inernet.
In particular, the inadequate ventilation to the upper deck has been addressed.
It has also been found that the buses have an unexpectedly high tyre failure rate, so an experimental tyre-less wheel is being trialled.
These vehicles will no longer be low-flooor, as the floor level in the lower deck has been raised in order to provide better air cooling to the electric driveline of these hybrid vehicles. However the innovative open staircase and platform means that the Customer Service Operative is able to pull one wheelchair or up to two baby buggies behind the vehicle.
An offside route number display, which fell out of use during the 1960s, makes a welcome return to the capital's streets. The advanced technology which would allow the destination to be displayed alongside is still in development.
In a rare acknowledgement of his predecessor's achievements in increasing bus usage in the capital, Boris Johnson has announced that the revised design will henceforth be known as the 'Kenmaster' - or K-type.

A year of the shows and performers of the Bijou Planks Theater.
These two are experimental doll/action figure mash-ups (Polly Pocket, Gi Joe, skull bracelet).
I picked up a Polly Pocket from a box sitting on the sidewalk a few years ago. She was combined with a "Ken Masters" Street Fighter/Gi Joe figure that I'd had for a long time. Ken always had moobs anyway. She has 16 points of articulation, far superior to the original Polly Pocket. But the height of the figure had always been a bit of an issue, so Polly/Ken just kinda sat around for a while.
Now, with the miracle of InstaMorph moldable plastic, all-of-a-sudden, it became possible to increase her height by 1/4", bringing her in-scale with all of my other figures.
Polly gained non-removable leather boots, a belt, a short sword, and a tunic. A blockwide garage sale netted me some metallic gold thread that works in a sewing machine, so I added gold trim. And I learned how to do a blanket-stitch to seal the collar.
The other idea came to me by accident after I bought a Halloween skull bracelet (from Michael's). It costs $2.99 and has 20 little skulls plus long fang beads. I just happened to look at a Gi Joe-sized figure (4") on the desk and realized that the heads were about the same size. What if I did a head transplant?
It took an hour to Demel off the plastic mold flash on the skull, open the Gi Joe body and remove the head. Then I used a hobby saw to cut off the head to save the neck peg. Drilled a hole in the neck peg and the skull. Put in a small plastic dowel and used Instamorph to join the skull and neck peg together. Then I reassembled the Gi Joe.
The result isn't bad at all. Head is ball jointed (it is a Gi Joe Cobra Televiper figure, circa 2005) and it has the standard 16 points of articulation.
