I started slowly, just wanting to get out in nature and get moving, then was inspired to try the hike 50 challenge. I got my husband out on the trail with me and he made it to 50 also. After reaching that goal, I realized I could make it to 100 by the end of the year so I just kept going. I have enjoyed the solitude of solo hiking as well as the camaraderie of hiking with a partner or a group. The scenery is serene and I have enjoyed watching the seasons change out on favorite sections.
