TXTC 1 reportedly came from the Kansas City, Kaw Valley and Western Railway and prior to that, the Monongahela and West Penn Public Service Company. Sadly, the railroad ended service in June 2000, shortly before Pabst shut down the Pearl Brewery.

The KAW Railroad is a subsidiary of the Watco Company. It provides switching services to the Bedford Industrial Park. (Kansas City)
