Here is Tofu in our herb garden. I think he was after an insect when I took this photo but the plain truth is that Tofu isn't the best hunter. I often think that he enjoys watching other creatures more than actually hunting them. Sometimes he makes a half-hearted attempt, though. :)
I post this photo for the Happy Caturday theme "Wild Cats".
At this time of year Linus and "his" ginkgo are a perfect match even if Linus is still a little bit too fond of picking the now yellow leaves from the tree. The ginkgo still has some leaves, though, and they make a very pretty bokeh but sadly the lovely autumn colours are always a short-lived pleasure and at the moment you can really watch the leaves falling although it's not even windy. Linus will soon have to look for a new hobby ....
I don't think that i have ever had more birds in the garden than this year, mainly great tits, sparrows and blackbirds. The blackbirds have been rare for years and I'm happy that they are back, Tofu is even more excited than I am and spends hours watching them. They often land on the lawn to look for insects and worms and could be an easy prey for a cat. Luckily Tofu enjoys observing birds much more than chasing them.
Fynn is my perfect photo model, the only one who just wakes up from a nap, notices the camera and immediately is ready to smile. Cleo would put on her death stare and Linus simply wouldn't look at me at all.
Sorry for posting another photo of Fynn on the lawn. There is something about Fynn in the grass that always makes me point the camera at him.
Day 8 with Charlie Brown. I wonder if he will miss all the entertainment in this house or if he will have to sleep 10 days in a row to recover as soon as he will return home on Sunday. For now he makes the best of his holidays here and doesn't get much sleep during the day. There are simply too many interesting things to do.
The photo wasn't planned but it works well for this week's Happy Caturday theme "Brushing or Petting" and so I post two cat photos today. There aren't many hands which Tofu accepts on his fur. The one in this photo belongs to my nephew Hendrik who at the moment lives in the room behind this window. Cats generally like Hendrik a lot and they all appear on his windowsill quite often. :) Happy Caturday !
Hellooooo! My macbook was broken, couldn't do anything :( it had to be fixed. Finally I have my macbook back! Sooooo happy :) glad to be back!
.... says the Dragon. He isn't particularly interested in mice, though, not in the dead ones which Sethi often leaves on the doorstep, not in the living ones which Fynn occasionally releases in the house. The Dragon is strictly specialized on insects and birds.
Sethi relaxing in the garden and enjoying some sunshine. The photo was taken a week ago and it hasn't been really sunny today, instead we had thunderstorms again. The weather forecast ist better for the next days, although the cats will probably complain about the heat. :)

Jonas setzt sich, obwohl es verboten ist, immer auf die neue Garderobe im Flur. Es ist schwer Katzen etwas zu verbieten, sie haben ihren eigenen Kopf.
Tofu only rarely leaves his blanket at this time of year, especially when it's as cold as it is right now. I had hoped to take a more interesting photo of him in the garden today but he refused to follow me outside ...

Gestern ist Jonas 13 Jahre alt geworden. Leider hat er noch kein Geschenk bekommen, weil ich krank war und nicht einkaufen konnte. Er hat aber ganz viel Liebe und Streicheleinheiten bekommen. Sobald es mir wieder besser geht, bekommt er noch eine genähte Decke.
Jonas ist wieder richtig fit. Beim Morgenspaziergang zeigt er mir, was er alles kann. Auch der Schnee und die Kälte machen ihm nichts aus. Jeden Morgen um 9.30 Uhr wollen beide Katzen ihren Spaziergang machen.
