My junk might be someone else's treasure. Still, this thing here is definitely junk which I must have kept "just in case". It is a spring fastener or cord lock, I had to look that up. I did not know what these things were called. I put two small ribbons through the hole, just so it doesn't look so clinical.
… Tiny Teddy was sitting in here, but when he heard it was my Junk Box he quickly jumped out of it, as he did not want to be mixed up with Junk …

From my Jewellery Junk Draw, my favourite earings that broke and I'll never throw them out :)
I like to scavenger hunt for trinkets, the last time I took a shot of my prizes it was just filled the tray that is under the cabinet, now the cupboard is about full, These will some day be photographed for on theme or another but for now I have a lot of just in case.

Foggy morning on San Pablo Bay, China Camp Pier.
Exact reproduction of historic junk, faithfully built in old way at China Camp, San Rafael, California by San Francisco Maritime Historic Park Shipwright, John Muir and crew.
The Grace Quan is a replica of 1860-1910 workhorses of Bay Area Chinese owned dried Shrimp industry. She is 42'3" in length with a 10'4" beam.
Macro Mondays ~ Junk
'So, for this week’s Macro Monday’s challenge, have a good rummage around and find some junk to photograph and if you feel the need tell us what your junk is.'
Wrapped in tissue paper, I have a random collection of small shells and pebbles picked up from various beaches I've visited. They're not perfect - but that's what I like about them!

Crofters have a habit of saving junk, especially anything too big to take to the tip. This old Bedford was bought as a restoration project but fell by the wayside. Acharacle by night. Exciting!
