The berries of the Juniper contain essencial oil. The wood can be used to smoke meat.

"Then the juniper-tree began to stir itself, and the branches parted asunder, and moved together again, just as if some one was rejoicing and clapping his hands. At the same time a mist seemed to arise from the tree, and in the centre of this mist it burned like a fire, and a beautiful bird flew out of the fire singing magnificently, and he flew high up in the air, and when he was gone, the juniper-tree was just as it had been before, and the handkerchief with the bones was no longer there. Marlinchen, however, was as gay and happy as if her brother were still alive."

The black on the rock that you can see if actually certain chemicals in the rock that oxidize from the rain water and turn it black. The Native Americans found that this was great to carve their rock art into because it would bring out the bright red behind.

If you look at the bottom right, there is black like dirt on the ground. This is called Biological Crust (aka Cryptobiotic Soil).

The berries which are not actually berries are individual seeds that are covered with a hard wax like coating.

Juniper is a loving girl who enjoys the outdoors most of all. I took her name from the song "Jennifer Juniper", by Donovan.

The last verse repeats verse one in french, and that is the inscription on the back of Juniper's head. "Qu'est-ce que tu fais, mon amour?" Juniper is always interested in you and loves to spend time together!

Juniper is happibug custom #175. She is an ebl mold dolly, originally a Disco Boogie, and has an adorable angled bob and pointed bangs cut into her two toned hair. Juniper has airbrushed make-up with handpainted details, and three pairs of my handpainted custom chips. Juniper's outfit is made by me, and consists of a dress of turquoise silk with embroidery and beads, and a 70's leather bag and belt. Coolcat boots in chamois finish off her outfit!

Juniper is an independent cat who is happiest on her own-stalking mice and exploring. A gorgeous cat she would be a fine addition to a house that wanted a cat who can keep themselves entertained.
