Juniper was found on a park trail by a young man who was fishing at the time.
She is the Wild Child of the shelter.
Juniper is an independent cat who is happiest on her own-stalking mice and exploring. A gorgeous cat she would be a fine addition to a house that wanted a cat who can keep themselves entertained.
Juniper has been with us since 7/24/2008.
Our local bank (the same one that had closed for Hurricane Wilma here) has juniper bushes as part of its landscaping. I spotted occasional berries tucked inside the greenery.

Smells like gin. These berries look pretty cool up close. I never noticed on the bush in my front yard growing up. Huh.
This is not a good photo, but it suffices as a record shot of this small butterfly that I found on the inside window of my garage. It was taken under less than ideal, indoor lighting conditions after it perched atop my left hand. Here's some info about the butterfly.
