One of two juveniles that were being fed in a tree across our street today. You can see that the bill is beginning to change from black to red.

Meet one of our recently-fledged baby bluebirds. He has at least 2 and probably 3 siblings, and they are already flying quite proficiently.

As the early morning sun burned away the last of the mist through the canopy this young sapling basked in the sunlight whilst its peers were cast in shade.

Junior was sitting in his car seat on our window seat catching some rays to help with his jaundice (which I think has cleared up now). This is from the same "shoot" as his grumpy look.

I am assuming this male Mandarin Duck is a youngster. He hasn`t yet developed all the finery of the adult, cute though!
