CSX N121 passes by the North End of Woodland, Georgia on June9, 2003. Not only is the power gone, but so are the coal trains of the Manchester Subdivision. (Slide Scan)
I've forgotten what these are called. It's almost as big as a hummingbird, but very quiet. It's a BUMBLEBIRD !

Playing in the grassy field with my daughter, Madison, I caught a glimpse of the sun shining on these flowers, so I took the opportunity to snap a photo. A little different than my normal work, but nothing wrong with experimenting :)

This was one of those rare times when she actually agreed to stop what she was doing for 30 seconds and let me shoot off three frames. And for one of them, she actually looked right at the lens for once. Result: 1/500 second of magic.
I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it in b&w or the original color version.
