We stopped to admire all of the lily pads on the water. This was shortly after we saw a bear on the trail ahead of us!
The Mountain Bay State Trail, west of Norrie.
There were a lot of wildflowers along the woodsy Mountain Bay trail. We enjoyed seeing them tremendously!
Olaf is a very quiet little man, but when he does decide to say something his voice is so sweet. I love to hear it!
He’s now 9 months old and 11 pounds!
One of two photos taken on my short solo walk today along the Waterfront Recreational Trail in Toronto.

Sometimes Ektar works just fine for portraits. All I did here was decrease the saturation a little bit, and the skin tones came out just fine. Other times, the skin tones are way too red/magenta saturated. Maybe the blue light from the sky and water cancelled it out?
In If Only I Had A Green Nose by Max Lucado the wooden creatures of Wemmickvsville are all rushing to get the newest craze - a green nose.
"Oooh," said the Wemmicks.
"Ahh," admired some of the others.
The just-painted Wemmick didn't stop to speak - he just kept his nose in the air and walked past. All the green-nosed Wemmicks did this. After all, how could your nose be seen if it wasn't in the air?
I had so much fun with the last Wemmick photo that I had to try one more. Oh my goodness! I've been staring at this so long I think I might be cross eyed! This wood texture was a lot more difficult to work with. *sigh*
shoot thru with sb600 camera left and Olympus fl36 bounced off large reflector camera right.
Going back through some of my storm chase photos. This one during the first of the MT/SD tornadoes shows some of the storm's structure. The stovepipe tornado is barely visible in the haze to the left of the far left rain shaft left of the hills -- it's actually easier to see out of the corner of your eye than by directly looking at it :)
