A flea flew by a bee. The bee
To flee the flea flew by a fly.
The fly flew high to flee the bee
Who flew to flee the flea who flew
To flee the fly who now flew by.

We have a finch feeder outside one of our bedroom windows and the kitties love watching the sweet little birds. Ivar tends to lounge in a slouch because he's usually in the watch for the long haul (plus, he's very much a teenage boy right now).
A superb showing of noctilucent clouds (NLCs) on June 27, 2021, with the colours very prominent, even to the eye. The colours transition from the red and oranges of the solstice twilight, through to yellows and even greens above (these were obvious to the eye), then to the cyan and electric blue of the clouds themselves. The tops of the clouds fade to a deep red as they are being illuminated there by the setting Sun at their altitude and latitude and so appear red, with that red edge decreasing in altitude as the evening progressed as the Sun set lower below the horizon.
A widespread area of very clear sky locally and far to the north may have contributed to the better visibility of the colours as the light from the Sun had a clearer path through the atmosphere.
This was June 27-28, 2021, in a particularly widespread display that started the evening with the clouds filling the northern half of the sky,. This was from home and is a panorama stitched from 9 segments, each with the 24-105mm f/4 RF lens at 67mm, and Canon R6 camera.
This mural is located in Mount Horeb and was created by high school students with the aim of normalizing conversations about mental health. I especially love that it has a nature focus considering how much our natural world can help our mental health.
There were pride flags all over in this small town, which we were happy to see (Norway is one of the most inclusive countries and Mount Horeb was settled by Norwegians).
On our way to go biking, we stopped at Level 5 to pick up some donuts. Last time we were there, they had put one of my stickers on their case and I was excited to see there was a second one on it now! I always leave some of them in their sitting area for people to grab. Love this place!
We biked from Mount Horeb on the Military Ridge State Trail. It was quite the steep climb on the road to the park and we were very thankful for having the electric assist!
We started out at Mount Horeb (near the Trollway!) and headed toward Blue Mound State Park. The trail started off between a busy highway and road, but then it became nice and peaceful after a few miles.
Part of a fence and gate. I like how the rusty wire stood out. Didn't realize the Juniper berries would be twinkling. Brought up clarity.

Four artists. Four worlds. One common thread: the truth of sound, and the sweat of live performance.
LINE-UP
11AM SLT | 8PM CET
Billy The Kid aka DJ Infernal
Founder of the legendary Extravaganza club, Billy is a key figure in SL’s dark underground scene (Darkwave, Gothic, Industrial, EBM, Doom, Dungeon Synth…).
But tonight, he returns to his roots with a set crafted for pure Rock and Hard Rock: raw, massive, and unapologetic.
A true underground veteran, switching sides to the guitar.
12PM SLT | 9PM CET
Saro and the Pacemakers (LIVE BAND)
Born in Budapest and seasoned on German stages, these four musicians play as they live: full throttle.
Saro (guitar/vocals), Alex (lead guitar), Richie (bass), and Gabor (drums) deliver a blend of electric blues, melodic hard rock, and a metal edge, forged in years of shared stages and friendship.
Not just a band, a musical brotherhood.
1PM SLT | 10PM CET
Steve Forrest (LIVE)
Former PLACEBO drummer, now an accomplished solo musician and striking vocalist, Steve Forrest returns to the stage with a personal, high-intensity set.
Recently arrived in SL, he offers something rare: an exclusive live rock show, up close and intimate.
VIP guest of DecadencE, Steve is where the real world cuts through the virtual.
2PM SLT | 11PM CET
John Rocky (LIVE)
Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and vocal coach, John Rocky is a force on stage.
Trained at the Tatuí Conservatory, he recently completed an Asian tour and is now back in Second Life, stronger than ever.

Cambridge, Massachusetts • June 27, 2022.
Harvard University • Robert S. Bradley Fountain.
Erected in 1910 by Robert S. Bradley, Sr., and designed by Alexander Wadsworth Longfellow Jr.
A brick and stone drinking fountain has been erected in memory of Robert Stow Bradley, Jr., '07, who died shortly after leaving College, at the point behind Holworthy Hall where the Class of '76 fence terminates. The money for the fountain together with enough to extend the fence to the Meyer Gate was given to the University last fall by Robert Stow Bradley '76, of Boston. The fountain, which was designed by A. W. Longfellow '76, is built in the style of the masonry of the fence. — Harvard Crimson (June 13, 1910).
