Not a tusker yet but getting there, if he does not fall victim to poachers.
Snowy egrets eat mostly aquatic prey, which include crustaceans. This particular snowy got really lucky catching this whopper shrimp.
Something different! From the direction it is going, I believe it is leaving Detroit Metro Airport.

Had to parboil the Shrimp and reserve the liquid for the Risotto,

Lengte trein: 18.48 meter
Bouwjaar: 1911
Vervaardiger: Werkspoor, Amsterdam
This locomotive, called "De Jumbo" appears on the track in 1911 under number SS731, and has been in service for more than half a century. In 1921 he gets the well-known number 3737.
This locomotive has driven approximately 3 million kilometres, making it one of the most successful steam locomotives in the Netherlands. The Jumbo regularly fills in for the newer diesel trains from the 1930s, which regularly do not run due to recurring defects.
The locomotive has twice as much power as its predecessor and is therefore very suitable for express train services.
Because of its size it is nicknamed 'Jumbo'.
The 3737 makes its last regular run on January 7, 1958:
from Geldermalsen to Het Spoorwegmuseum. This is also the last official steam train ride in the Netherlands.
Train length: 18.48 metres
Year built: 1911
Manufacturer: Werkspoor, Amsterdam
The trumpeter swan is the largest extant species of waterfowl. Adults usually measure 138–165 cm (4 ft 6 in–5 ft 5 in) long, though large males can exceed 180 cm (71 in) in total length. The weight of adult birds is typically 7–13.6 kg (15–30 lb).
A useful tip for boiling Shrimp, put your frozen Shrimp in a pot cover with cold water and when the water starts to boil pull them off the fire,

The Airbus A300-600ST (Super Transporter) or Beluga, is a version of the standard A300-600 wide-body airliner modified to carry aircraft parts and over sized cargo. It received the official name of Super Transporter early on; however, the name Beluga, a whale it resembles, gained popularity and has since been officially adopted. The Beluga XL, based on the Airbus A330 with similar modifications and dimensions, is being developed by Airbus to replace the type around 2020.

Well here is Santa in a bit of a pickle , as we all know it seems this winter is a winter of Walk Outs by the workers in all manner of jobs . It turns out now that even the Reindeer have gone Trot About and are refusing to pull the sleigh this year - sub standard grub being dished up and having to work in severe cold all the time - they have just had enough !!
So the thing is Santa has to resort to desperate measures to do his annual parcel run - Light Bulb moment !!
He spots the empty Jumbo jet flying on an test flight after a maintenance overhaul , so off to hi-jack this plane just for the night , no pilot could turn down the Santa Run on the 24th - that will have to be a first !!
Santa explains to the pilot that there will be no wear and tear on the plane as the Reindeer Dust does all the heavy lifting and propulsion - you can even hover where needed when it is time to go down any chimneys . What may prove difficult is keeping the Jumbo invisible while hovering ( Oh for a cloaking device ) !!
There is one thing though , we do not want any incidents en-route , Santa featuring on an episode of ------------
Nat Geo's "Air Crash Investigation " is not going to be very good for his credibility !!

Jumbo Jubilee is a Heavy Lift Vessel that sails under the flag of the Netherlands and even though we all see the obvious subject of the photo, for me what really makes it it's the silhouette of the Monument to Christ (Cristo Rei) in the background. Probably many of you don't know that the Monument was built in 1959 as a thanks to God for sparing Portugal from the horrors of World War II. I have to confess that only today I learned this, while trying to figure out how the statue was named in English.
Cheers everyone.
