I confess... sometimes I buy things at the grocery store just because I like the containter they are in. It was the simple, graceful lines of this bottle that spoke to me and had me grabbing it up to add to my cart... never mind what was in it, or that it was probably over priced. I'd love to see it with a single iris, but since I'll have to wait a good while for that to happen...

I was out for an evening walk around our neighborhood with my daughter and her hubby. And there was this hydrangea... growing really close to the road. Fair game, right??? (Thanks, unsuspecting neighbor that I do not know.)

Just for the record, the apricot nectar that came in the bottle was really-really good... a big bonus :))

A note about the photo: I've cloned little itty-bitty things out of photos before, but this is the first time ever that I've tried cloning something in. Have to say, I actually had myself a "moment"... lol...

... with brick building, door and window. Also? No parking.

Combination of Two Exposures

Strobist: Two whitelightings at equal power in softboxes with large scrims in front at the rear of the bottle (1/2 power). Profoto softlight reflector w/ Profoto AcuteB 600R was used for lighting of label 1/4 power.

An exploded view of the little Lock & Lock bento set -- the Korean tupperware by Hanacobi Co. You can see that the bottom right container is divided, while the bottom left container is not. The bottom two containers are 350ml each (12 oz), with a 300ml drink container/cup on top. Microwave/dishwasher/freezer- safe, and water/air-tight. Bought at Kamei in San Francisco (Bay Area bento shopping guide here). For my blog.

Looking southeast. Notice the tall trellis (foreground left) sunk into a 75.7 litres (20 gallon) fabric grow bag. For detail of this trellis see next slide.

Many of the smaller eggplants (Little Prince) were attacked by a squirrel this fall. That squirrel must have thought they were the largest nuts he had found because nearly everyone one of them had bite marks. I finally netted the containers so much that even I could not reach in to harvest the eggplants. Next season I will only plant large eggplant varieties.

Easy to construct trellis, weave poles through wire mesh

A wonderful, prolific mini cucumber intermingled with purple beans and cherry tomatoes.

This is the second planting of zucchini. The plants were abused by bugs and succumbed early. So I amended the soil and replanted them. Not sure they will produce much as it nearly the end of September. I have harvested three zucchini so far. Plan to leave them as long as I can.

A great thyme for container planter.

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.

My photo out the window was so popular I decided to take a photo of the top of my bookshelf. The teapot was an acquisition today and is quite a convenience. Now I don't have to go back to the kitchen for every cup :-). And it matches everything else :-)
