I took this over a long weekend trip to tne beach with tne kids... it was handheld v tripod so I wasn't sure what to expect. I think it turned out ok although I wish those 3 bars were lit! I have a few others but Im so tired I won't get to them tonight. Good night all.

They were playing around and try as I might, I could not get them to sit still!

Thank you very much for your visit, fave and (if you have the time) comment.

Queen Anne's Revenge was an early-18th-century ship, most famously used as a flagship by Edward Teach, better known by his nickname, Blackbeard.

A late afternoon view from Okemo Mountain, VT. Lots of snow on the slopes and blue bird skies made for some great early April riding.

The view is looking east (toward NH) about 1/3 down the mountain. Mt. Ascutney can be seen to the right of center near horizon. The distant mountains to the left are in New Hampshire - the hint of white is from the Presidential Range (likely Mount Washington).

Hi flickr,

My computer's now back on line, finally. Looking forward to visiting your streams again..

I'll be flying out to Philly tomorrow, so will see you all shortly, once I get there. Have a great week..

Another photo of festive Vi, now in a different look altogether. ❄😈

Ngl, I am really loving this new Raven head, especially since I was looking to change things up about my look for a while now, and every head I tried on (besides the ones I owned previously) had *something* that really put me off. Might keep this shape for a while. 😜

Also, special thanks to Venus for hooking me up with a place to take the photo at. Go check out her Flickr, it's truly amazing. ❤

37403 'Isle of Mull' passes Gonerby (on the approach to Allington Junction) on 29th July 2023 with the 1Z28 16:38 Skegness to Birmingham New Street. This was the return leg of 'The Jolly Fisherman' Vintage Trains charter. The former 37307 will celebrate its 58th birthday in a little under three months, having been built by English Electric in the later part of October 1965 at their Newton-le-Willows site.

It's been a while since Black Friday felt like Black Friday. While there may be some new things thrown into like right now like vaccinations, life is normalizing and frankly nearly back to normal, well that is if you overlook the exorbitant prices for everything, food, housing, life. At least it's the most Jolly I've been in a few years.

Counting Crows - A Long December

A long December and there's reason to believe

Maybe this year will be better than the last

I can't remember the last thing that you said as you were leaving

Now the days go by so fast

And it's one more day up in the canyons

And it's one more night in Hollywood

If you think that I could be forgiven

I wish you would

The smell of hospitals in winter

And the feeling that it's all a lot of oysters

But no pearls

All at once you look across a crowded room

To see the way that light attaches to a girl

And it's one more day up in the canyons

And it's one more night in Hollywood

If you think you might come to California

I think you should

Drove up to Hillside Manor sometime after two a.m.

And talked a little while about the year

I guess the winter makes you laugh a little slower

Makes you talk a little lower about the things you could not show her

And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe

Maybe this year will be better than the last

I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself

To hold on to these moments as they pass

And it's one more day up in the canyon

And it's one more night in Hollywood

It's been so long since I've seen the ocean

I guess I should

I've not been on here for a while. We've been away in warmer climes and, to be honest, the creative juices dried up for a while.

Anyway, hopefully, they have returned.

Recently, we visited Maldon on the Blackwater Estuary, in Essex in UK.It has been a port since Saxon times and is now the home of several Thames barges that ferried goods around the Kent and Essex coasts and into the Port of London via the Thames. The mast of one of these barges can be seen in the background.

The Jolly Sailor is a 17th century century inn on Hythe Quay literally right on the quayside. Unsurprisingly it is renowned for it's fish.
