Das erste Tuning Kit von JCW war ein 94 kW (126 PS) Umbau für den Mini Cooper. Trotz des Preises von über 2000 € erreichte dieses Kit lediglich eine Leistungssteigerung von 8,2 kW (11 PS), einen sportlicheren Klang und ein besseres Ansprechverhalten. Im Jahre 2004 stellte JCW ein Sound-Kit für den Cooper vor, das aus einem neuen Ansaugsystem, einer Abgasanlage sowie Anpassung der Steuergeräte bestand.

Despite the price of over € 2000, this kit only achieved a performance increase of 8.2 kW (11 PS), a sportier sound and better response. In 2004 JCW presented a sound kit for the Cooper, which consisted of a new intake system, an exhaust system and adaptation of the control units.

The Mini Coupé and Mini Roadster are two-seater sports cars that were engineered and manufactured by Mini between 2011 and 2015.
The hardtop Coupé was unveiled in June 2011 and formally launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.[2] It is the first two-seater Mini. It was joined by a convertible version called Mini Roadster in 2012, following its showing as a concept car in 2009. The Coupé is known by the internal code R58 and the Roadster by code R59.
In February 2015 Mini announced the end of production for both models.
The Coupé, which went on sale in the UK from 1 October 2011, is based on the Mini Cabriolet, but with only two seats allowing a bigger boot of 280 litres (9.9 cubic feet). The Coupé’s windscreen is angled rearwards by 13 degrees more than in the cabrio’s and the roof is 29 mm (1.1 inches) lower than standard Mini Hatch. The rear spoiler rises at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h).
The range of the Coupé follows a similar pattern to other Mini models; featuring Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SD and the range-topping John Cooper Works (JCW). The JCW version accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 6.4 seconds and a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h) thanks to a turbocharged 208 bhp (155 kW; 211 PS) 1,598 cc four-cylinder. The Cooper SD is a 2.0 L turbo diesel producing 141 bhp (105 kW; 143 PS) available in some markets. All are equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox with the option of automatic on all but the JCW.
I took the original JCW MINI, bigger alloys and colour matched, billy grills & bigger gaps, dropped, purple & blue matalic, tinted windows, wipers & jets removed, colour matched vents and indicators and roof and calipers. Roof chopped+dropped.
0-60 in 6.5s and 149mph. Not bad for a 1.6 16v.

I spent my Sunday exploring the Western Pennsylvanian countryside with these two hot hatches. Each of them is remarkable in their own way but I'd take the RS if I was given the choice.

Als Einsatzfahrzeug für die Feuerwehr wird der BMW X3 ebenfalls eingesetzt. Zur Ausstattung zählen neben einer typisch roten Lackierung unter anderem eine Signalfolierung, Feuerwehrschriftzüge, eine Sondersignalanlage montiert an der Dachreling sowie zwei blaue Front- und vier Heckblitzer.
The BMW X3 is also used as an emergency vehicle for the fire department. In addition to a typical red paint finish, the equipment includes signal foiling, fire department lettering, a special signaling system mounted on the roof rails and two blue front and four rear flashers.

Seit langer Zeit bin ich wieder einen MINI gefahren .. und was für Einen !! Bei nahezu keinem Gegenverkehr hatte ich richtig Spaß (überholen hätte mich sowieso keiner können !!) 😜👍
