Jenny and Peter's Just Joey is coming into flower.
It has been a busy day, I will catch up soon.
I was happy to see Joey at the farm yesterday. He's the farm owner's 10-year-old goldendoodle. He has the softest fur of any animal that I know. He's also very well trained, and let me pose him in various spots around the farm.
This is the first time I've tried a different lens in my camera and now I want to play some more!!
I am the first to admit this is far from perfect and I had now idea what I was doing but I just couldn't resist those beautiful blue eyes!!
Joe's much better now although still not himself and we've had a weekend off the decorating so we've been able to spend some family time together.

When I asked Joe what he wanted his picture of this week he said "kissing my nanny" - it was her birthday this week and Joe wanted to show everyone how much he loves her.
Most of you will already know what this wonderful woman does for our family - she looks after Joe for me while I'm at work, makes the most beautiful cards and is the backbone of our family.
She is a second Mum to my little boy (and to me) and all in all she is lovely. She also owns more of my homemade jewellery than anyone else - thanks for all your support Mum!!
I found Joey investigating a scent in the bushes as I was retrieving the tractor tonight. I'm glad I brought my camera! Joey is the farm owner's dog, and a very good boy.
I took Joey, the farm owner's dog, for a walk around nearby woods today, on the way home from the groomer. He's very obedient, and a joy to photograph. He'd sit patiently while I clicked away, and I rewarded him with premium treats.

Joey is the farm owner's dog, and is very sweet and obedient. I snapped some photos while she was showing some volunteers around. The black animal behind the fence is Cleo, a small goat.
This little fellow could not keep its eyes off me. This eye contact was all the more heartbreaking when I learnt that more than 100 roos and joey's in the nearby reservoir were culled.
This is Joey. He is my first "Littlest Heroes Project "client. I just did his family's session today. What an honor.
Joey has a blood disease called "Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis". it is not Cancer but acts like it and Joey is undergoing Chemo. His family was very sweet and I will be posting more images from the session soon.

Joey may not hear as well as he used to, or see as well, but the light in his eyes is always bright and happy. His love for me knows no bounds. I adore every thing about this little fellow who has been by my side for almost fifteen years.
My thanks to Deb for reminding me about combining pictures.. I processed this Rose, Just Joey, In an on-line program, Deep Dreams Generator, and then put a second layer in JixiPix and added Artista Oil and then combined the two.. I think I got the best of both worlds by doing this...

The young kangaroo, or joey, is born at a very immature stage when it is only about 2 cm long and weighs less than a gram. Immediately after birth it crawls up the mother's body and enters the pouch. The baby attaches its mouth to one of four teats, which then enlarges to hold the young animal in place. After about 190 days, the baby (joey) is sufficiently large and developed to make its full emergence out of the pouch, after sticking its head out for a few weeks until it eventually feels safe enough to fully emerge. From then on, it spends increasing time in the outside world and eventually, after about 235 days, it leaves the pouch for the last time. The lifespan of kangaroos averages six years in the wild to in excess of 20 years in captivity.

Además, era zurdo y sufrÃa un trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo, lo cuál influyó enormemente a la hora de desarrollar su caracterÃstica sensibilidad y creatividad que posteriormente puso en práctica en sus composiciones como "The KKK Took My Baby Away" y "She's a Sensation".
Joey no se habló con su guitarrista, Johnny Ramone, durante casi 20 años. Esta rivalidad comenzó cuando Johnny le "robó" a su novia Linda, y luego se casó con ella, lo que le inspiró a escribir "The KKK Took My Baby Away" para el disco Pleasant Dreams.
