The second quadrangle at Jesus college. This part of the college was begun in 1640, the work was interrupted by the Civil war and resumed again in 1676, and it not completely finished until 1712. It's famous the Dutch gables (which is what that type of 'facade topping' is called).

Jesus Has Risen
1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
Mainly, I am posting photos that were not included in this set of the past weekend's Pitchfork Music Festival. However, this photo really bothered me in the sense that I preferred this crop but couldn't manage it with that website's specifications so I am showing this version, which includes more of her vivid red outfit.

Blessed to see a field full of these wonderful little creatures ... country roads, Highlands County, FL.
The lighting was really difficult on this day but this Jesus Christ Lizard chose the one spot where the light was almost magical :-D

In the biblical Song of Songs 2.1, exegesis has it that Jesus - Christ - refers to himself as a Rose of Sharon. There's been a lot of debate about the precise flower that would be. One of the options is the Hibiscus syriacus. My photo doesn't picture it but rather a Hibiscus chinensis, the Chinese Hibiscus, and a hybrid at that. It's Christmas Day! Enjoy!
