Das Braunkehlchen (Saxicola rubetra) ist ein Singvogel aus der Gattung der Wiesenschmätzer (Saxicola) und der Familie der Fliegenschnäpper (Muscicapidae). In der Roten Liste der Brutvögel Deutschlands von 2015 wird die Art in der Kategorie 2 als stark gefährdet geführt.

The whinchat (Saxicola rubetra) is a small migratory passerine bird breeding in Europe and western Asia and wintering in central Africa. At one time considered to be in the thrush family, Turdidae, it is now placed in the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. Both sexes have a strong supercilium, brownish upper parts mottled darker, a pale throat and breast, a pale buff to whitish belly, and a blackish tail with white bases to the outer tail feathers, but in the breeding season, the male has an orange-buff throat and breast.

I haven't posted in quite a while and so I recently dusted off the camera and went shooting. I honestly want to start on some personal projects that I have delayed for so long but for the next couple of days I will be posting some work that I did while collaborating with some terrific models. This is Jen Republic, her Instagram account is @model_jen_republic if you would like to follow her. Taken on an awesome ranch just outside Prescott, Arizona.
Strobist information: Elinchrom Ranger modified with 27" beauty dish on a boom directly over camera. Triggered with PocketWizards. Neutral density filters used to open the aperture for a softer depth of field.

Jen and I spent quite some time going through various shops and it wasn't only to keep out of the rain. Jen was looking for a bag to match a particular colour, I was looking for a shirt and we were both looking for a large mirror to take this pic.
Finally got around to upload the photos from a fabulous duo photoshoot i done at my studio with these two gorgeous girls, Jen and Rachel, so much beauty in one picture... is this even legal?

MLAUMIS128 speeds west on MRL's 3rd Subdivision at West Jens, MT. A cut of concentrates interchanged from BNSF's Copper City Sub local at Garrison is on the head pin behind the locomotives.
I love when Jen comes around for makeover and photoshoots as we always get to try new looks and most of all have fun. This time we tried a new backdrop system that i was experimenting with, i think it came out pretty good, and i had a stunning model to try it out for me! Thanks Jen!
