This was an amazing view coming down from skiing from the Remarkables. You can see down the valley to the lake, which is the road going from Queenstown to Te Anau. I really love lenticular clouds, so whenever I get anything resembling ones, I take a shot. I like it

Jen and I spent quite some time going through various shops and it wasn't only to keep out of the rain. Jen was looking for a bag to match a particular colour, I was looking for a shirt and we were both looking for a large mirror to take this pic.

Had a fab day out with Jennifer White today. Way back when I began to post pics and was deciding my style, Jen was one of the stunning girls who strongly influenced me. Unfortunately we lost touch for several years. Recently I was delighted to hear from her again and thrilled that she could visit me in Edinburgh.

As you see, it was a horribly wet day so we mostly kept indoors. A cafe, a gallery and several shops gave us shelter and lots of time to chat. Jen is fascinating to know and more lovely in reality than in her photos. Thank you, Jen, for travelling to meet me and I'm sorry about the rain. It will be better next time.
