After the rains the grass here just grows at an incrediable rate. At the park it gets mowed every week, so at most this is 6 days old. In addition to the grass getting long the humidity jumps up, and the temps of a August day, make it perfect for a jean jacket and a walk .

This is one of the metal buttons on my Calvin Klein Jean Jacket. I like how the letters "CK" are embossed on the button.

A childhood friend, Adam, passed through Taos last week. We hung out a bit and then headed to the gorge to try to catch a colorful sunset. He posed for a few photos on the Rio GRande Gorge Bridge.

And not melting either! We've had some pretty good weather in Oklahoma recently with some rain bringing some cooler weather.

The day that I took this image it was about 90 degrees and I am guessing between 70 and 80% humidity. Not a very comfortable day for those of us in shorts and light shirts.

About once a week I see this pup with his mom, and she is always well dressed in her Jean jacket. She doesn't say much and doesn't stay long. Most of the time she pulls a wagon behind her, I think for when the pup gets tired.

I hope she had a nice walk. What do you think the story is, why the jacket when it is so hot?
