the thing is, if you just want simple routing, and are not going to use a lot of the sexy logic that @aq has assembled, it's a bit big, at 17,258 minified bytes, not including the jquery dependency.

OMG this is driving me crazy. At work, on my dual G5 this pops up every time I open a page practically. Somebody save me please? Any suggestions?

 

I tried turning off delicious support for favorites, thinking maybe it was a connection error. No luck. If this keeps up I may have to actually go back to firefox... :-(

and jquery uses sizzle, a fantastic embeddable CSS selector engine written by, you guess it, @jeresig. it smooths over the minefield that is browser incompatibilities, giving you a really rich selection engine that uses a lot of cool heuristics to speed up common search use cases.

Added a last.fm handler, which works quite well.

a cross-browser, fully functional base64 encoder in 137 bytes. you pass it a string and the base64 character map, and it'll give you the same results that native `btoa` browser implementation will. this is an awesome piece of work, so make sure you check out the code.
