Mount Bromo caldera. I'm stood on the current volcano, to the left of the shot you can see the old vent. The flat bit is the caldera and the ridge in the background and right is the edge of the old (very large) volcano. The line of silver you can just about see to the left of the building (temple) in the middle of the photo is where you leave your tour guide and walk 1.5 km through volcanic ash up the mountain side (including 253 steps)
