That's Felipe, owner of the Java House, in the doorway of his place on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, just up the street from AT&T Park where the Giants were playing that day. The Java House and the Eagle Cafe are a couple of the places that remain from the old days on the San Francisco waterfront when shipping was the city's main industry. Engineers on the S.F. Beltline R.R. used to park their locomotives right in front when they stopped in for a bowl of chili.
