Richland County. Java was located on the south side of the Missouri River and straddled the Montana/North Dakota state line. It was named for the first postmaster, Anton Jevnager, who also owned the local grocery and hardware store. A post office was active in Java from 1907 (July 1) to 1913 (March 22). Immediately across the Missouri River (and visible in the photo) from the site of Java is the reconstructed Fort Union.

Hi My name is Java! I am a 5 1/2 year old Sharpei. I was surrendered to the shelter because my owners felt they couldn't provide the medical care I needed. I went into foster to get some TLC, since I was in rough shape medically. I do need a little time to warm up to strangers, and I will need to go home with older kids and I want to meet everyone in the home as well. Once I get to know people, I am full of kisses and cuddles. I love getting my ears and eyes rubbed, oh and belly rubs are pretty great too.. Borobudur, or Barabudur, is a 8th-century Mahayana Buddhist monument near Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. A main dome, located at the center of the top platform, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa. The largest restoration project was undertaken between 1975 and 1982 by the Indonesian government and UNESCO, following which the monument was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From: wikipedia.
