J. ERIC JOHNSON is a composer, pianist, synthesizer artist and percussionist with a long and illustrious list of concerts and recordings to his credit.
Besides his many years of Performances with Carman Moore and Skymusic Ensemble, Johnson has appeared with ensembles as desperate as Leroy Jenkins, Sam Rivers, Airto, Mountain, Richard Davis, Oliver Lake , NYC Opera Orchestra, Houston Symphony, Bo Didley and many others. He has composed for film, TV and orchestra.
F. CARTER HOODLESS is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music. His approach influenced by the brute force of Jon Bonham, the funked-up grooves of James Brown, and the technical spontaneity of Tony Williams. BRIAN LEE is a classically trained pianist, singer, saxophonist, and percussionist, and bass guitarist. He holds a degree in Electronic and Computer music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is skilled in composition, West African Music, and studio engineering/production. A long list of engineering and production projects are also to his credit, encompassing varied musical styles, from jazz to classical, heavy metal, and rap. As a bass player, composer, his playing and stage performance have a new distinct style, yet echo many of his influences from Bootsy, Rick James, Pop-daddy, and Flea to Mingus, Ron Carter, Victor Wooten, and Stanley Clarke, bits and pieces are melded together and find a unique voice.
PREMIK RUSSELL TUBBS is a composer, arranger, producer and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist performs on various flutes, soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, wind synthesizers, and lap steel guitar. He has worked with everyone from Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Ravi Shankar, Narada Michael Walden, Clarence Clemons, Ornette Coleman, Jackson Browne, Jean-Luc Ponty, Lonnie Liston-Smith, Scarlet Riveria, James Taylor, Sting and Lady Gaga, just to name a few. He is equally adept in pop, R&B, jazz, world and experimental genres. Sax solos on #1 Hits -: “How Will I Know” (Whitney Houston) and “Baby, Come To Me” (Regina Belle).
All are long time members Carman Moore ’s the Incredible Skyband and/or Skymusic Ensemble.

Premik, a composer, arranger, producer and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist performs on various flutes, soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, wind synthesizers, and lap steel guitar.
Premik has worked with everyone from Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Ravi Shankar, Narada Michael Walden, Clarence Clemons, Ornette Coleman, Jackson Browne, Jean-Luc Ponty, Lonnie Liston-Smith, Scarlet Riveria, James Taylor, Sting and Lady Gaga, just to name a few. He is equally adept in pop, R&B, jazz, world and experimental genres.
Sax solos on #1 Hits -: “How Will I Know” (Whitney Houston) and “Baby, Come To Me” (Regina Belle).
Premik's first major recording breakthrough was with John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra on the album“Visions of the Emerald Beyond.” Premik was a major part of the landmark Carlos Santana album "The Swing of Delight" which featured Herbie Hancock as co-arranger and co-musical director. Also featured were Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, Ron Carter and several members of the Santana band.

In memory of James Beadling. Seething, UK 1945. 8th Army Air Corps, 448th BG, 715th Squadron. James Beadling called the little mythical animal a nichie (?), it had a notch in it's back and it was his little nose art for the co-pilot side of the nose. James Beadling was born on 06/08/1916 in Ohio and passed away on 02/07/1994. He now rests in a veteran’s cemetery in Littleton, Colorado.
As Bethan has Covid, I took Lucas out for most of the day. First we had to go to Argos to get a refund for the Speedo inflatable baby seat which we couldn't inflate at Center Parcs. Then I had a couple of things to drop off at a charity shop - and bought Lucas the blue car he's holding (20p). We carried on to a few more charity shops, and I was very excited to find one selling lots of Hot Wheels cars, so I got 19 of them for £6.
Eventually we reached the playground at The Leys, where Mike took him yesterday. Lucas really loves the swing, and likes to be pushed pretty high. He was actually on the same swing for about an hour, non-stop! Lucas liked watching the many helicopters and planes which flew past, and James popped by in his lunch break for a little while.
Then Lucas & I went to the skateboard park so that he could play with his car, and to have our picnic lunch. On our way back into town, Lucas nodded off. I collected something for Bethan from M&S, and popped into another couple of charity shops. When Lucas woke up, he saw the Trunki tiger case, and wanted to get out and push it along, so we made our way home very slowly indeed! We did a bit of playing/weeding in the front garden, then it was time for me to go. Another busy, but fun, Grandma day :-) When I got home, Mike had cut the lawn/moss, so that was good - looks a lot tidier.
I had a few errands to do in the village when I got back, so Mike cooked the tea. Then we had a restful evening in front of the open fire and the TV, watching 'Don't Look Up' on Netflix, which we thought was pretty good.
