It was raining on the North-West side of my office and sunny on its South-East side. So I ran to the emergency staircase and there was this fantastic double rainbow, extending well over North-East to East and covering the Crossing Stadium, part of Josaphat Park and, hardly visible in the distant haze, the whole area of Brussels Airport.

This is the story of Jacques Cello who was turned into a cello by his neighbour the witch after playing too late at night..
Sad and true story.
Geography and geology
Jacques-Cartier National Park is located in the Laurentian Mountains along the Jacques-Cartier River valley, to the west of Quebec Route 175. Jacques-Cartier is a 30 minutes drive from Québec City. Grands-Jardins National Park is located to the northeast of the park, while the Laurentian Wildlife Reserve is located to the north. The park is also located near the Canadian Forces military base CFB Valcartier.
The park contains several glacial landforms such as drumlins and moraine. The most prominent glacial landform in Jacques-Cartier National Park is the Jacques-Cartier Valley (French:Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier). The U-shaped valley is 550 metres (1,804 ft) deep and was formed during the last glacial period.
Flora and fauna
Female moose inside the park.
The plateau consists mainly of coniferous trees such as the black spruce, while the valley consists mainly of deciduous trees such as sugar maple and yellow birch. The invasive Japanese knotweed has also appeared in the park's boundaries.
The wildlife is typical of a boreal forest. Animals that can be found in the park include moose, caribou, white-tailed deer, gray wolf, red fox, the Canada lynx, the black bear, river otter, porcupine and the Canadian beaver. Atlantic salmon, brook trout and the Arctic char can be found in the lakes and in the Jacques-Cartier river. The park is also visited by more than 100 species of birds.

That and I just wanted an excuse to break out this whip
Like many of the restaurants in my area Jacques begins an outdoor service in the spring when weather starts to get warmer. They do a good business in the summer months but in the Fall when the cooler weather arrives, the tables and chairs are put away and the waitstaff moves indoors. To me it has become the urban equivalent of the change in color and eventual falling of the leaves-- a marker of the passing seasons.
The beautiful area of bivouac Jacques Guiglia (2.437 m) portrayed during the night, with the Argentera massif on the other side of the valley. Natural Park of the Maritime Alps, Italy.
Clouds resulted stretched, due to their natural movement during the 4 minutes exposure.

It has been a long journey to reach this place.
A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Jacques spent decades studying deep-sea ecosystems, eventually becoming the system’s pre-eminent expert in aquatic xenobiology theory—the study of how alien marine life might evolve in oceans beyond Earth.
So when the opportunity arose to join the first mission to explore the hidden seas of Europa, Jacques did not hesitate.
As a standard humanoid bot frame, he could easily have joined the human and synth research team operating from Nicklen Station, located beneath Europa’s ice sheet and accessed through the Mitty Borehole. From there he would have conducted his research through remotely piloted submersibles like the rest of the crew.
But Jacques wanted something more direct.
He wanted to be there.
Rather than study Europa’s ocean through cameras and telemetry, Jacques elected to have his consciousness transferred into a Tardigrade-class submersible exploration frame. The platform was upgraded with a Level XII processing unit, allowing his data core to operate the vehicle as a fully autonomous field researcher.
Now Jacques roams the Europan abyss himself.
For the next several decades he will patiently explore the dark ocean beneath the ice—surveying hydrothermal vents, cataloguing mineral formations, and searching the depths for any sign that life has taken hold in this distant alien sea.
For Jacques, there could be no better place to be.
