I believe this to be a dragonfly rather than a damselfly. Perhaps it's on the above list.

I got new shorts for running. They're spandex and I feel n*aked when I leave the house with them on.
Move pointer over the screen to view notes. One of the old tyres on the roof bears an injunction not to urinate there. There is confusion between "urine" and "urinate", just as there is elsewhere in Ladakh.
This view is taken looking in the direction of Tibet, but whether the distant mountains in the picture are in India or Tibet I have no idea. I suspect they are in India.

This monastery is reminiscent of Alchi (www.flickr.com/photos/14958189@N06/sets/72157627766854045/). The interior was being restored by some young German women when I visited. There seemed to me to be rather too thick a coat of red paint on the woodwork , so perhaps they will do something about that, which will result in the monastery being shown to better advantage, or perhaps the woodwork needs all that paint to protect it from extremes of climate.
