23 It was All a Dream by Mike Salisbury
It Was All a Dream reimagines a vintage phone booth to explore the paradox of modern communication – deeply connected yet increasingly detached. With four disconnected handsets and a striking red and blue design, it invites reflection on agency in the digital age.

Luchtsingel is a 350 meter span pedestrian bridge, which will re-connect Rotterdam Central District with the Hofbogen. The area surrounding Hofplein used to be place full of livelihood, when now it’s dominated by cars and lack of public domain. Luchtsingel is the first step in bringing back urban qualities adding small-scale interventions to the urban fabric.
Luchtsingel is a fully crowd funded project: anyone can contribute. Through web- and digital applications citizens will be given full opportunity of private development: small-scale, non-bureaucratic, low-budget. More information.

So here we have another in the series of shots I took of the little garlic chive. There are really some interesting ones - in an abstract interesting sort of way - so bear with me if I upload a few that I took. For this one I used the reverse lens again. I used the soulful action to lighten it up (the yellow was very bright in the sooc version). I also added a texture from lesbrumes.
What is the BIG CHALLENGE you ask?
I will reveal that 1happysnapper started the "challenge" after hearing about Sharon trying it this week. Many of us on flickr tend to post our beloved "flower pictures". Next week, Monday through Friday, 1happysnapper and I have challenged ourselves to NO FLOWER POSTS at all! We are going to move outside our comfort zone and remind ourselves that "yes, there are other things to take pictures of besides flowers"....
For me this is going to be a real challenge, because even my still life photos usually have a flower in it. My subject pool is limited since my boys eye roll and duck every time I walk into a room with the camera, my pets won't stand still, and my home and yard is filled with flowers!
If you would like to join in on the fun - shoot me a flickr mail. So far Ginny, Patti, Angie and Debby have signed on too!

My last photo this season of the entrance/exit of Walibi Holland. It was all a dream. To be continued in 2020!
Walibi Holland
Walibi Holland (previously called Flevohof, Walibi Flevo, Six Flags Holland and Walibi World) is a theme park in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands.
Attractions include the Speed of Sound, El Condor, Xpress, Goliath and Robin Hood roller coasters.
The adjacent associated event grounds has been the location of large music festivals.
In 1971, the park was opened under the name 'Flevohof'. It was an educational themepark themed after agriculture and farming. Having struggled to compete with more modern family attractions, Flevohof went bankrupt in 1993, and was subsequently purchased by the Walibi Group that autumn, who redeveloped the site as an amusement park. After a major winter-long programme of reconstruction the park reopened as Walibi Flevo on 7 May 1994, featuring the world's first Vekoma suspended looping coaster (SLC), El Condor. The park also adopted the wallaby mascot of its sister park, Walibi Wavre in Belgium. (The name 'Walibi', incidentally, is derived from the first two letters of three towns in Belgium put together to form a single word: Wavre - Limal - Bierges).
The Walibi parks, including Bellewaerde in Belgium, were purchased by Premier Parks Inc. in 1998, who subsequently overhauled the Flevo park, removing the 'Walibi' branding and building 30 new attractions as part of its transformation into Six Flags Holland in 2000. Six Flags's nominal expansion into Europe saw a similar refurbishment of the Belgian Walibi theme park, which was renamed to Six Flags Belgium. Both parks benefiting from the group's rights to use Warner Brothers characters within them, leading to the creation of a Looney Tunes-themed area and a powered-launch coaster themed around popular comic figure Superman, later changed to the Xpress.
In 2004, Six Flags Holland and its sister parks were purchased by financiers Palamon Capital Partners, who grouped the attractions under the name "StarParks". The park reverted to Walibi branding in 2005; numerous attractions having been rebranded as the sale of the parks also meant the loss of any references to Looney Tunes and DC Comics characters rights.
In the second half of 2006, the parks were sold for the second time in as many years to the French group Grévin & Cie (Compagnie des Alpes), most notably the operators of the French themed resort Parc Astérix, who also purchased two other Dutch attractions - the Dolfinarium Harderwijk and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. In 2011 the park was renamed as Walibi Holland, which introduced new mascots.
The adjacent associated event grounds were originally developed with Scouting Nederland for the EuroJam 1994 and the 18th World Scout Jamboree in 1995. It is or has been the location of many festivals like the Lowlands music festival and the Defqon.1 music festival .

Schiestraat 17/11/2018 15h32
Near Centraal Station in Rotterdam in the Schiestraat and Delftsehof you can find a walhallah of street art. This piece made by Bruce TMC is very well visible from the train in Winter when the trees are leafless. Love these words after I have had a good time in Paris or France and going back home. IT WAS ALL A DREAM, these words give me a moment of melancholy.
The artist Bruce TMC is a painter of letters, small and big on every possible surface.

Lockdown is bad enough. A lockdown birthday is a step worse. And a lockdown 40th has got to be no fun whatsoever. So here at id-iom we thought we'd do our best to remedy that with a little present for our boy Chino. Happy birthday big lad! Once I'd decorated the packaging it was like a present and card in one. Win all round.
I don't know about you but 'Where's the weekend?' seems more relevant than ever. It currently feels like we're locked in an eternal Wednesday from which there is no escape. At least it's not as cold as it was...
Cheers

Im trying new things lately and this is my first attempt at a dreamy type photo (or whatever you call these types). Feedback will be very appreciated.
7. Im pretty much an outsider.
Tall Tale
She was sure she met Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, but it was just a tall tale. I think she spent too much time with Dopey!

This tradition started in 2018 with this photo with the back side of the entrance with the remarkable text It Was All A Dream.
Most of the time taken at the end of the season when we have to wait a few months to be able to return for the next season. Till then...it is a dream to come back.

Main Street | Entrance / Exit 28/10/2018 22h11
When we walked through this gate for the last time in the season 2018 our subscription ended. Visited Walibi this year 13 times. Sometimes a whole day, sometimes a few hours.
And the message was clear; It Was All A Dream
See you next year Walibi!
