I'm picturing an ideal scenario where one has a primary machine (workstation) with their iTunes library, movies, et al.
The "grab-and-go" MacBook Air would then be used to load up some music, a movie or two, your contacts/bookmarks/etc. So far, exactly like syncing an iPhone or iPod.
But a new tab for loading Files and keeping specified files and directories synced would be ideal!

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Have to be rocking matching the aircraft & airline color scheme when catching a good Delta, a first class TPA-LGA flight, hopefully avoiding the other delta in the news.
As is tradition, when I’m on time, my departing flights are delayed. But today’s delays were from tornadoes in Atlanta, according to one of my Delta airline pilot friends. It gave me a chance to grab some after sunset food at TPA, and get into my seat without rush. Being first to board, I took the mask off to take a selfie.
Checklist: Mask back on, seat belt fastened, GPS tracker enabled, bags stowed, Apple AirPods Max great active noise cancellation on, iTunes/Music “5-star Songs Unplayed 60 Months” playlist on, Maghreb prayers done, loved ones messaged, gratitude to Allah the One God of all…. ongoing.
Think, as the shirt says. And you’ll never run out of things to be grateful for, daring new experiences to be savored, deeper love to be experienced, new chapters to keep unfolding, and love to be shared. Always keep me in your prayers, friends and loved ones.

Looks bigger LARGE, the new web sharpen I do seems to look a little ordinary when the image is small and not at 1100px!
On my travels through Tasmania I was told by another Flickr friend to visit the Table Cape Tulip fields between Stanley and Wynyard (technically part of Wynyard).
Whilst the season was almost over, these few rows remain. In it's peak, the Tulip Fields look stunning and line all those hills, and they don't keep the flowers would you believe it? They only keep the bulbs that they harvest after the flowers bloom and then send then overseas!
I pulled up a little sad as no rolling hills full of tulips. But I headed down anyway to check out the fields. Some rain came in and I packed up camera with a few alright shots and I thought, it's only light, broken clouds, windy, hmmm rainbow chance here - so I waited for few mins and voila a rainbow appeared, perfect as I could get.

I'm lucky to be heading to Tasmania again in Easter for a holiday with some photography added in. I'm well overdue for a break without the pressures of the 4am starts!

I'd also like to open a discussion.
A post on a website I recently joined had a topic on a person heading to Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake in Tasmania and trying not to get a cliched shot that's been done many times before.
I thought about this and came back with this reply, a reply that I felt literally pour out of me and is something I feel very passionately about, so I'd really like to share it with you all and see what you think:
I wouldn't stress so much about getting a "non cliched" shot. Go there, try your best to get a shot that makes YOU feel good ;)
If it bares resemblance to another persons shot, then that's how it is. Don't dismiss it as "already done, cant take that shot". It's how you saw and felt the scene when you were there, that's the important part ;) You got up early or stayed late and the shot will be the fruits of your efforts, and people will respect that a lot.
So let your creativity drive you when you're standing there at Dove Lake! Get the cliched shot and maybe try something else if it feels right.
I've spent too much time myself trying to find that "un cliched" photograph of many places and wasted great light. Sometimes you find it by hard work and planning sure, or you take a "cliched" shot that spoke to you on the day. I bet if you took an identical shot of a Dove Lake scene to someone else but you add a story and describe how passionately you loved that scene at that very moment in time, then you've made your own great photograph to share.
Deep huh? ;)

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Main story

I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.

she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

About Soft Light
Soft light refers to light that tends to "wrap" around objects, casting shadows with soft edges. The softness of the light depends mostly on the following two factors:
Distance: The closer the light source, the softer it becomes.
Size of light source: The larger the source, the softer it becomes.
The softness of a light source can also be determined by the angle between the illuminated object and the 'length' of the light source (the longest dimension that is perpendicular to the object being lit). The larger this angle is, the softer the light source.

The SS Dicky and Dicky Beach
Dicky Beach is a suburb in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Of the same name and located within the suburb is Dicky Beach, which is one of the Caloundra beaches.
The area was named after the iron steamboat, the SS Dicky, which ran aground during heavy seas in 1893. It was re-floated, but again, heavy seas turned the ship about and back onto the sand where it remains to this day. Dicky Beach remains the only recreational beach in the world to be named after a shipwreck.
Dicky Beach is a patrolled beach, and is home to the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club. It has been awarded numerous awards, including the 'DHL Queensland Surf Life Saving Club of the Year' in 2009.
