Boulder, Colorado. The iconic Flatirons covered in snow. This was taken on the grounds of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The mountain is the famous iconic Flatirons. It is riddled with hiking trails and climbing spots.

Tonight what I had planned in my head for my shot did not go to plan due to thick fog in the location I wanted to be. I wasn't sure if i was going to get a shot today!
So I took a drive out to a spot I've been to before and stood on a bridge (in freezing temperatures.. as you do) to capture some light trails. I know it's a mediocre shot, but I do like the lorry pulling into the lay-by.
It's also raining stars again 😉

I've been so busy I almost didn't realize I've been off from Flickr for months. But I am still here and haven''t abandoned Flickr...yet haha
Sorry for not being too active on Flickr again. The darn research and papers took my photography life away (temporary) haha. I haven't even got a chance to get much new material either.

What winter is supposed to look like. Fed up with this mild winter. We need some snow...like right now.
I took this photo a couple of years ago when we had proper snow and -18c
This picture is so me. And I love it. Plus I figured out how to keep the EXIF data on my pictures after ages trying to figure it out, which is fun. So it's there, if you want to look at it! Happy Sunday everybody.

The windows of my car were totally frosted over this morning. It's been really cold the past few days, but I am still not getting that snow I wanted. I didn't have my camera on me today but the frost looked so cool that I settled for a cell phone photo.

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Although it is almost summer here, we have been lucky enough to have some cloudy days recently. Here is my High-colour Fashion Queen Barbie wearing "It's Cold Outside" #819 (ca. 1964). The coat came in a lot that I recently won using birthday money from my mother and sister.
Unfortunately I can't tag all of you so please CONSIDER YOURSELF TAGGED!
I photographed this a few years ago but since then the song, "Baby, it's cold" is popular again, (and, somewhat controversial) I thought this fitting.
