Rafu Shimpo (http://rafu.com/news/) has been publishing news for the Japanese-American community in Los Angeles for over 100 years. Initially, it published in Japanese. On February 21, 1926, Rafu Shimpo began publishing an English section. Pictured are photos of ads, congratulating Rafu Shimpo on its first English issue.
I'm not sure if it's broken but the light meter has not moved from the corner since I got it so I think something's wrong with it. Is there any way to fix this?
This is not good. It's 6 pages. They suggest eating Spam and Kraft mac and cheese. They ask you to rent out their office for parties. The back page is a coupon for some free things at Aveda.
A random snapshot of the gravel road to my Uncle's property that's partially flooded after a very heavy strong severe thunderstorm had passed over Brookhaven, Mississippi earlier this Saturday morning, March 15, 2025.
The majority of that water is flowing out of one of the drainage ditches that's on the abandoned railroad right-of-way. The very long culverts under the gravel road is clogged with debris as the old railroad grade has been abandoned since 2004 when Canadian National Railway (CN) removed the track. Before the track was pulled up, it was mainly used as a storage track for excess railcars, mainly boxcars and some bulkhead flatcars.
Several attendees took advantage of the town hall-style Q & A to ask questions regarding local business issues.

Vogue launches one of the most anticipated issue in fashion culture; the September Issue. The issue that claims it rule over: fall fashions, stylish steals, and of course beauty secrets. In my own anticipation for this issue I attempted a fall preview. Giving a personal view to the definition of fashion.
Fashion, clothing and trends, largely depend on one's personal expression and penchant for style. So, fashion and style should reflect one's own persona and worth. Less about the prediction of the current fashion trends and the irrespective of suitability. We should stand out from a crowd with a distinctive style that coins our personal value in aesthetics, functionality, as well as pride.
