It wasn't the most powerful storm in living memory to hit the south west, but it was certainly a great experience and provided a few good photo opportunities, albeit from a safe distance. Had this storm struck during August, I dare say there might have been a few people in Bermuda shorts and Hawaiian shirts stood on Porthleven Pier chancing it trying to get images on their mobile phones. Thank goodness for the 100-400mm beast of a lens and the fact that the storm occurred out of season.
Overnight Storm Isha hit the west coast of Scotland with 70mph+ winds. This was just after sunrise the next morning and co-incided with the high tide. This image was taken at a popular spot for stormy images as the waves usually crash over the promenade here. A full set of waterproofs was required for this image as the waves were crashing over my head. Frequent wiping of the camera lens with a cloth ensured that I could still take some pics despite the salty spray getting everywhere.
I never thought the day would come when Scene Stealer Isha would come to live with me, but she's finally here and more beautiful than I know what to do with. Between her and Big Eyes Poppy Parker, 2016 will be one of my favorite doll years ever. Here, she tries her beautiful hand at making a statement necklace into a boho headdress.

I've bought some duplo parts couple of weeks ago , it's so much fun to use , it creates unsual big sleek shapes , I really love that ^^
As in 2014 , I also use the catamaran parts as prongs but in a different way of course , (only the black parts )

When I think of "The Premiere" and Hollywood, the FR character that comes to mind is Isha! She is the resident actress after all.
I'm sooo excited for convention this year. For one thing, it's on the west coast so I'll be saving on airfare. And with convention stuff already out, I can prepare and plan properly for the FR dolls yet to be unveiled this year. Can't wait!!
