Those Mont-de-Marsan pilots sure knew how to make a great impression while arriving in Evreux, in preparation for the annual Bastille Day parade. They arrived for a fast and low break with 7 aircrafts. What a sight!

Cappuccino
Der Alcopop des Kaffees.
Der Holländer Claas F. Moped melkte am 8. April 1945 aus Versehen viel zu viel Milch direkt in seinen schönen schwarzen Kaffee. Als er ihn probieren wollte, weil dieser inzwischen so aussah wie der Kakao, den seine Kinder immer tranken, war er alles andere als verzückt und spuckte den Schluck mit nicht zu knappem vorherigem Mundinhalt (Herr Moped war begnadeter Speichelsammler) geradewegs wieder zurück in die Tasse, die er darauf samt Inhalt aus dem Fenster warf. Die zwei 13-jährigen Freunde Holle und Bolle fanden die Tasse und erlabten sich an deren Inhalt. Seitdem ist das Getränk unter dem Namen Cappuccino bekannt.
Besonders beliebt ist er, verweisend auf den ersten Satz, bei Leuten, die den Geschmack von Kaffee hassen, aber trotzdem sagen wollen, dass sie Koffein brauchen. Da das Vorhandensein ebendieses Ingrediens in Milch sowie in Rotz stark umstritten ist, können wir davon ausgehen, dass diese schlimme Variante den gleichen Gehalt hat wie wässriger Kakao.
Die Tochtergeneration des Cappuccinos nennt man Cappuccinofleck. Die häufigste bekannte Art ist der gemeine C-Fleck, der besonders oft auf weißen T-Shirts, Hemden, Hosen oder auf Forentreffen zu finden ist. In aufwendigen Selbstversuchen wurde festgestellt, dass der durchschnittliche IQ eines Cappuccinoflecks über der Zimmertemperatur in Kelvin liegt.

Located near the entry of the city, Fa-Nad'iq hotel is one of the older buildings in Mophet. Travellers come and go and the local jester Mah'raj spends his days entertaining them. On this day Ta-Yir is outside the hotel trying to sell some of his doves but Mah-raj seems to be scaring away customers rather than luring them in...
So yet another addition to Mophet :) Pretty happy with the design of the window-arches on this one, hope you guys like it.

Special:
- Many people believe the VOLVO 244 and 245 with Volkswagen D24-engine was VOLVO’s first diesel car, but actually it wasn’t.
- In 1965 the Månson-company had the idea to replace the B18-engine of the P210 DUETT with a 4-cilinder Perkins diesel-engine and try to sell them in series, needed for the heavy work like quarries, mining industry or forestry.
- Replacing the B18-engine with a Perkins-diesel wasn't easy. The transmission needed adjustments, the exhaust needed modifications, engine mounts and supports were also different and many other modications needed to be done before the engine was installed properly.
- The engine itself wasn’t very cheap so it was an expensive job. So the Perkins-project on the DUETT wasn’t a success.
- Malte Månson tried to convince Volvo to use a Perkins diesel-engine in the VOLVO 144 but that project was stopped after just one 144 Diesel-engined prototype.
- The diesel-equipped DUETT was officially not sold by VOLVO but VOLVO didn’t forbid Malte Månson AB to sell the DUETT’s with the Perkins-diesels.
- This P210 Diesel is the only one in The Netherlands and it is believed that it is the only one in the world with an original Perkins 4.108 Diesel engine. Other restored DUETT’s have different engines, like Renault- or BMW-diesels.
- The name DUETT stands for use at work as for leisure time, two cars in one: duet.
