Ever since I visited Nubble Lighthouse the first time a year ago, and started photographing the Aurora, getting an Aurora shot over Nubble Lighthouse has been on my bucket list. Over the year I visited Nubble Lighthouse about three times when I got an Aurora notification, but it never made impact. Yesterday I decided to give it another shot. Shortly after arriving around 6:30pm, I parked and watched the last of the setting sun. After checking my camera gear, I decided to take a photo of the sky with my phone and saw some red, but thought maybe it was from the lighthouse so I took a photo with my camera before noticing a band of red in the sky with my eyes. A chill swept over my body similar to when I saw the total solar eclipse in April. This photo is a 4 image panorama to the start of a very long night at Nubble Lighthouse, and it the first one I wanted to share. Many more to follow!
