For the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), the IPU–UN Women Parliamentary Meeting was held on 11 March 2026 with the theme “The role of Parliaments in achieving parity in decision-making and ensuring gender-responsive access to justice for women and girls.”

Over 700 delegates met in Siem Reap for the Fifth Review Conference of the Mine Ban Convention. The Siem Reap-Agnkor Summit on a Mine-Free World is where the international community adopted the Siem Reap-Angkor Action Plan, which will guide efforts for the next five years.
