The IPU's 2026 Parliamentary Hearing at the United Nations considers the ways in which parliaments and the UN can work better together to deliver a more prosperous, sustainable, just and peaceful world, in the context of the UN80 reform initiative.

The discussions are informed by the Pact for the Future, the main roadmap toward a renewed multilateral system with the UN at its center, as well as the 2026 UNGA resolution “Interaction between the United Nations, national parliaments and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.”
