An Apple app is no longer required to control my various music players throughout the house. Now that I'm no longer constrained with a defective web browser on my iTouch/iPhoney, the Nokia N900 phone's browser renders the Logitech SlimServer to perfection. This is a screen shot directly captured on the N900, then posted via the N900 to flickr without a PC, nothing special required!
Sometimes devices come out and you have to get it...That was the case here.
Then the pain began, and then the training began.
You always have to train yourself to use a new device, buttons, functions differences in OS - all things that contribute to your learning how the new device works...
But what you don't expect is the device to train you. By that I mean, having to make sure that YOU, the OWNER, the Person in control - checks for e-mail... not the device - noooo - why would the device check for e-mail on a regular basis... oh - it says its going to fetch e-mail every 15 mins... but does it - sure - until it gets tired.....
